Point of Care Mapping Specialist

Purpose of the Job:
Participate to the successful deployment of the Point Of Care Clinical Terminology Services for Clinical Solutions products; Ensure timely and quality delivery of required code mapping projects; Utilize content management tooling to create and maintain maps to identified healthcare data standards; In collaboration with the Terminology Services Manager to provide terminology and mapping expertise for Point of Care products; Develop heuristics to meet mapping use case requirements.

Key Result Areas and Main Responsibilities:

Medical Coding:
Provide terminology asset management expertise for Point of Care products. Deliver timely, quality maps to support interoperability across business platforms based on mapping requirements. Work with internal clients to develop create mapping requirement documentation for identified business use cases.

Collaboration:
Work with the manager to align clinical mapping services across Content, Technology and Operations Teams.

Able to Deliver:
Set and meet project deliverables and timelines using Agile development methodology.

Keep Current:
Monitor developments in medical informatics and terminology standards, as well as maintain continuing education requirements for professional certification.
