PMO Manager - Risk

* PMO MANAGER - RISK - GLASGOW - 9 MONTH CONTRACT.*

Our utilities sector client has a fantastic opportunity for a PMO MANAGER - RISK to be the point of contract in this area for all things related to risk for this utilities client.

The ideal candidate for this role will come from one of the following areas: capital/utility/engineering/construction/infrastructure not a financial services background.

Key Accountabilities/Experience:

- To develop presentations and provide training on best practice risk management implementation.
- You will be providing a single point of contact for all risk matters.
- You will 'own' all risk management issues and be a key interface with the rest of the business in this respect resolving issues over risk to programme deliverables and investment outputs
- The role holder is expected to contribute to new policies and procedures which will aid in the effective delivery of the programme. Additionally they look to continuously improve policies and procedures, in order to drive greater efficiencies as a requirement of meeting the budget and overhead targets.
- A detailed knowledge of Risk Management within a complex programme in one of the following industries: capital/utility/engineering/construction/infrastructure.
- Detailed knowledge and practical experience of IT systems for programme and portfolio management and to utilise and advise on risk management software packages.
