Minimum 3 month contract up to six months with the option to renew.

My Client is in the process of a major corporate restructuring, as a part of this the UK Generation Development (ADU) Team has been implemented within New Build & Technology.

The candidate sort will be responsible for the development of process and procedures and their implementation, whilst supporting the ADU team in day to day activities (business as usual). The candidate will also be capable of training/coaching the team in the application of new process/procedures.

The UK Generation Development (ADU) is a small focused team working collaboratively within the client. The development environment we work in is about developing multiple options in an ever changing world. We bring order into this environment, to enable effective integration across functional businesses of my client, facilitating delivery of successful project options from origination of the initial idea through to financial investment. We work closely with, and align ENT to, the Regional Unit (RU) strategic direction, ADU identifies opportunities to be pursued, manages the generation development project programme, and initiates delivery of those chosen on behalf of the RU.

The post holder will be accountable for the implementation of project development processes for new Generation Development projects and the origination of new opportunities within theUK. Working with multiple project options run concurrently, the post holder must possess the skills, experience, confidence, and resilience to prepare, implement, and continuously improve project development processes providing key performance measures, minimising administration/bureaucracy, adding, and adapting to our capabilities to support the strategic direction of the Group.

This will include the development of the project management schedules, cost estimates, earned value analysis, risk management planning and analysis, project documentation and processes, reporting and appropriate governance models for all project programme opportunities.

Accountable for preparation and facilitation of Interactive planning sessions (IPS) to develop schedules to meet client requirements, goals and objectives. IPS are working groups with stakeholders used for the creation and maintenance of project and programme schedules.

Accountable for project and project programme reporting and analysis to senior management. Proactively suggest improvements to the schedule, re-baseline of schedules following approval of Change Notices, provide management "early warning" processes for decision making purposes.

The post holder will also be expected to establish relevant business processes, in conjunction with the other functional (technical and commercial) colleagues for the project programme as they move from origination and development and into final investment approval.

A good communicator and diplomat, the post holder will need to work flexibly within a small team, and across a wider functional business, providing support to other parts of RU Generation Business Development teams and other stakeholders. The post holder will be expected to travel between with inEuropeand internationally as required.
