CURRENTLY WE ARE ASSISTING OUR CLIENT IN THEIR SEARCH FOR A FREELANCE PMO. IT IS A LONG-TERM ASSIGNMENT IN BRUSSELS. OUR CLIENT IS ACTIVE IN THE FINANCIAL SECTOR.
years of experience as PMO
Strong (recent) experience in retail banking
French or Dutch
You will ensure that programme and projects adhere to governance, management tools, processes and practices. You will also establish and maintain program & portfolio governance to ensure clear routes of escalation are in place and control procedures are available for managing portfolio wide initiatives such as resource utilization, change control, financials and portfolio development and maintenance. Furthermore you will ensure that the alignment and compliance to the program Governance Framework.
Another important task will be to provide portfolio/executive level reporting to fulfil stakeholders requirements on progress against key criteria such as cost, schedule, risks, issues and benefits. You will proactively highlight and where appropriate, escalate key delivery risks and issues to the program Manager. You will work with the appropriate stakeholders to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and ensure tracking and monitoring of actuals to budget.
To be considered for this project, you have minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role. Therefore, you have recently been working in retail banking for several years. Furthermore, you have experience in planning and you have excellent organisation, communication and negotiating skills. You are highly driven, you can work proactively and autonomous with attention to detail. Finally, for this project, you are able to speak French or Dutch fluently.
