PMO Consultant (S26)

Reporting to the PMO Manager, this position will be based at Parramatta.

The purpose of this role is to analyse and provide decision and governance support for the Corporate and Enterprise portfolios by regularly reviewing the appropriateness and deliverability of the portfolio, reviewing the business priorities and project and program risk profiles, and escalating issues to the PMO Manager.

A strong attention to detail is required as your role will be responsible for the review, analysis and reporting on portfolio including:
Business Case, Variations and Project Change requests
Project governance, Steering Committee packs and Project status reports
Issue and risks identification, analysis mitigation/resolution and reporting
Project planning and execution management
Schedule development, tracking and maintenance
Financial stewardship of project investment

You will possess comprehensive oral and written communication skills including extensive experience in building trust and credibility in complex stakeholder and organisational environments as a large part of your role will be to manage and perform project assurance functions including project gate reviews, post execution reviews and benefit realisation reviews.

You will need to be an action orientated self-starter that is outcome driven and can lead through influence and partnership with a variety of business and IT stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
To be successful you will require tertiary qualifications in Business/IT Management or relevant experience in a similar role. You will have a high level of knowledge and understanding project management methodologies and disciplines. Scheduling skills would be an advantage.
