PMO Analyst/Junior Project Manager - Banking - Melbourne CBD

Our client is a well-known player within the banking space in Australia and abroad. Due to extensive project work, they're seeking an enthusiastic and switched-on PMO Analyst/Junior PM to support the Project Manager with regard to task governance and ensuring deliverables are on track. You will benchmark project progress, design plans, summarize issues and risk, and formulate reports and documentation for key stakeholders. You will also be heavily involved in test case execution and analysis - logging results and defects.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE:

- Previous experience as a PMO Analyst or Junior Project Manager
- Strong command of the Microsoft Office Suit - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
- Strong understanding of project principles
- Strong documentation skills.
- Strong communication and team work skills.
- Previous experience in a financial services environment is HIGHLY ADVANTAGEOUS.
- Previous experience logging defects with JIRA FAVORABLE.
- Excellent time-management and prioritization skills are a must.
