Plugin Software Development Engineer

OUR CLIENT IS THE WORLD'S LEADING COMPUTER COMPONENTS COMPANY SEEKING A SOFTWARE DEVELOPER WITH A SPECIALTY IN C# AND C++.

This Developer will contribute to an internal tool for converting SystemC into High Level Model (HLM). This is final step in a flow for converting system Verilog to HLM. The client has selected DevExpress CodeRush refactoring tool as the refactoring tool. The project involves writing CodeRush plugins to provide the required custom refactorings. Estimate of ~20 different custom refactoring will be needed. The end result of the project will be to use the flow that this tool is part of to convert 7M lines of System Verilog code to HLM.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Read, understand and provide feedback on the description of custom refactoring to be coded.
- Design and code the custom refactoring plugin.
- Test and bug fix the custom refactoring.
- Document the design, code and usage of the custom refactoring.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- C#, Expert
- C++, Expert
- Development Tools, Expert
- MS Visual Studio, Expert
- Must be able to write a CodeRush refactoring plugin from day one
- SystemC and/or Git skills preferred
