PLC Programmer - Gloucester

Huxley Associates are looking for a Commissioning/PLC Engineer. The work can be based either from theGloucesterorMidlandoffices. The role will involve travelling 3 days a week across to sites across the country to work on the commissioning for various pumping stations. Reporting to the ICA/SCADA System Manager key responsibilities will be: . Test and Commission of MEICA assets including FAT and SAT . Technical Documentation writing . PLC programming . Inspections and fault diagnostics of mechanised assets control software and SCADA installations . Technical & Operational support to internal teams and contractors . Working with other internal teams to define technical aspects of projects to deliver User Requirements . Supervision of MEICA/SCADA contractors . This is a central position so travelling Qualified to degree/HND level in a relevant discipline Membership of appropriate professional body e.g IET Knowledge and experience of Mitsubishi PLC IEC programming languages and ancillary equipment such as HMI's and VSDs Knowledge of SCADA programming and Communication Networking including industrial Ethernet,Mobiledata network used for M2M, other industrial networks including CC-Link and Modbus Strong Electrical Engineering knowledge An effective communicator with the ability to work alone or as part of a team Valid driving licence - essential Please send in your CV if you are interested in this role.
