1. All aspects of steelwork involved in submarine construction, ability to work from drawings to tolerances.
2. Previous experience in erection of large steel fabrications.
3.Use of hand held burning and grinding equipment.
Additional Information
Demonstrate experience in Shipbuilding, Nuclear, Petro-Chem, Offshore, Marine, Heavy Engineering.
Responsibilities
Work safely at all times, complying with Health and Safety and other relevant regulations and guidelines.
Follow the relevant instructions, drawings and any other specifications.
Check the completed activity to ensure that all operations have been completed to meet the required specification.
Use associated tools and equipment safely and effectively.
Willing to work nightshift if required.

Time served steelworker (Plater/Shipwright)
C&G Level 3 or equivalent.
NVQ L3.
