Plant Manager - Fast Progression to Director

Huxley Associates is proud to be working with a leading a rapidly expanding engineering manufacturer based in the Cambridgeshire area who are looking for a new Plant Manager to join the team. This is a company that supply into a variety of industries including Aerospace, Automotive and Oil and Gas. They are also a business that is going from strength to strength and are a rapidly expanding success storey in the market. A new role for a Plant Manager has come available to manage the Cambridgeshire site,USsite and site inOxford. The large majority of your role will be at the Cambridgeshire site but you will need to be comfortable with some occasional travel. You will be a key member of the senior management team, reporting directly to the CEO and help drive production during this growth period. The role will be earmarked to grow into a Director position as the business grows and you grown within the role. We are looking for some of the best Plant Managers in the industry. Ideally you will be degree educated or similar. Aerospace industry experience would be desirable as this is a key growth area for the company but is not essential - other industries will be considered. Beneficial would be lean, six sigma or business skills. On offer for the role is a starting salary of circa £50,000 which is flexible dependant on the candidates skills and experience. There will also be a generous benefits package which includes a good bonus scheme, private medical and life assurance.
