Plant Floor Systems Support Lead

We are currently looking to hire a PLANT FLOOR SYSTEMS SUPPORT LEAD, to support our growth within the UK.  This role is responsible for the execution of the detail design and configuration of the current business processes in SAPs ECC6 ERP product.

On a day to day basis, this role will provide the following functions:

- Oversee IT service delivery function in support of manufacturing build at Solihull to restrict system attributed losses to SLA level.
- Technical SME input in all aspects of systems support and small change development.
- Act as liaison between IT support teams and customers across all business areas including manufacturing, MP&L, AME and CME.

To oversee and ensure quality of PFS software deliverables.

Part of a 10 member support team and responsibilities include:

- To effectively manage the Solihull Plant Floor Support Applications
- To provide out of hours support as required in support of on-call staff.
- To provide SME level knowledge of manufacturing systems in support of change and development activities.
- Provide support for New Model Programmes at Solihull
- Enforce quality standards wrt software development.
- Enforce Adherence to the Remedy Incident and Change management process
- Manufacturing and Automotive Industry Knowledge
- Solid/advanced VB, C#, Cimplicity programming skills.
- Experience in supporting MES and build critical applications on GE Cimplicity platform
- Experience of at least 2 large scale implementations for Automotive or discrete industries.
