MY DUTIES:

- Participate as a key member of the Plant Management Team (PMT) with main tasks ‘to challenge & to support’ the PMT
- Establish and administer policy, procedures and controls to conform to accepted accounting principles. Adhere to Financial Corporate policies. This assures accuracy in reporting, costing and safeguarding of assets 
- Prepare and present financial information for Plant Management
- Provide support to production cost analysis for the budget and forecasting processes
- Maintain knowledge of unit operating status and efficiency
- Review variances and accuracy of the financial reports on a monthly and year-end basis and ensure all necessary explanations are available and recorded appropriately
- Lead the month-end reporting for all financial reports, including inventory, utilities cost tracking and unit efficiency measurement 
- Provide analysis to identify issues and opportunities whose resolution will result in improved business performance, while keeping in mind the risk tolerance of the business = ‘to challenge & to support’ = support harmonization and value creation
- Develop financial information for Business Cases, outlining the expected costs, return on investments and caveats of new business strategies versus alternative investment options

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- Language skills: English fluent, German nice to have
- S/4 Hana knowledge mandatory
- Project expertise from chemical industries, manufacturing or plant controlling
- Preferred: Business Intelligence (BI) interface, Power Pivot knowledge
