Planning Support Planner - Geel, Belgium
Your function includes:
Support in the preparation of the Master production schedule (MPS) and translating to an optimal detailed production plan (DSS) for intermediates and finished chemical products (API), within a horizon of 13 Weeks, in line with the needs, available capacity and optimal stocks.
Preparing and creating process orders and picking orders, and assigning the appropriate batches based on lot constraints and inventory lines.
Coordination support between MPS/DSS planner, Production manager, technical launch integrator, technical services and other departments to ensure that the production schedule is optimal and realistic, and takes into account the available resources .
Release batches with the right priority, and provide a synchronized flow of information and materials within the site to ensure flawless execution of the schedule and deliveries.
Identify, follow-up and resolve or escalate possible delivery problems, within the framework of the short-term exception management process.
Creating and analysing reports on schedule attainment, cleaning times, etc, and based on these measurements and insights, actively improving and developing solutions to optimise activities, not only within The own department, but over the entire process. These improvements can be both process and system related.
Project support (from ongoing projects within the Planning Group)
Qualifications
Degree in a technical or economic direction (eg. Civil engineer, Master ), supplemented with relevant experience.
Supply chain certification (eg APICS) is an advantage.
Experience within Supply Chain, preferably in planning or production
Project experience
Experience in working with ERP (SAP)
