Planning Manager

An opening has just arisen with a leading banking client of mine for a Financial Planning Manager. The role is within the divisional business planning and forecasting team and whose key responsibility is to support the timely delivery of the divisions 5 year medium term p;an, quarterly current year Forecasts and latest views to Group Finance all supported by robust and insightful analysis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Design and develop and maintain a set of XL data models used to drive and consolidate business unit financials for "Best Case" and "Stress Test" scenarios
- Lead on the consolidation and review of: Capital and related capital transfer pricing - costs - Impairments - and Legal Entity
- Provide insightful information and analysis to support Senior Management decision making
- Provide guidance on planning related questions and policy
- Build and maintain a strong cross functional internal network to optimise business results
- Identify improvements to enhance processes and timelines of delivery

My client is looking for a real self starter someone who would describe themselves as highly analtytical and numerate.

It would be a distinct advantage if you were to have either Essbase or Hyperian systems experience.
