Planning Engineer - Subsea Construction/Marine

Planning Engineer required for a 6 month contract assignment based in Oslo with a Subsea Construction/Marine Services client.

In the role of Planning Engineer your responsibilities will include:

- Contributing to HSE standards, goals and overall development of the company
- Complying with governing procedures
- Contributing to the development and implementation of procedures
- Development and maintenance of schedules
- Setting up the base line plans for assigned projects and monitoring progress against the plans.
- Collecting progress information for plans and reports
- Monitoring engineering, procurement and construction activities, highlighting and commenting on any irregularities and proposing corrective actions

The ideal candidate for the role of Planning Engineer should have:

- Msc or Bsc in Engineering or equivalent commercial experience
- IT skills using Primavera and MS Project.
- Previous experience working in the subsea construction/marine services industry would be desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills
- Eligibility to work in Norway (EU Passport/Work Permit Holder)
