Planner - Supply Chain

ERM Planner - Scotstoun - £27.50an hour - 6 months contract

This is a great opportunity to work within one of the UK's leading Defence companies. This role is based at their site in Scotstoun not far from Glasgow.

You will be working on the ERM project. ERM (Enterprise Resource Management) is the sole platform for Supply Chain to enable electronic management of workflow and workload.

Responsibilities of this role:

-Look at consumption to plan and compensating to future plans
-Amending plans to take account of consumption profiles
-Independent planning of key commodities to optimise availability and costs
-Liaising between operations, planning and Supply Chain stakeholders to derive optimal master schedules
-Managing engineering change decisions to ensure changes occur at lowest cost
-Preparing plan revisions to support running of routine MRP batch jobs
