Planner/Scheduler III Job

PLANNER/SCHEDULER III needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Thousand Oaks, CA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Work with craft supervisors to identify contract support
- Develop, maintain, and publish reports for planning and scheduling activities.
- Develop and maintain business processes related to job function.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Develop and communicate work scope, forecasts, and resource allocations needed to complete planned corrective maintenance tasks.
- Identify vendor resources and delivery capabilities for parts and materials for planned maintenance tasks.
- Work with craft supervisors to identify contract support as needed to complete planned maintenance tasks.
- Responsible for developing maintenance job plans and ensuring accuracy (planned vs.. actual for labor and materials) for new and ongoing operations.
- Review manufacturing/production schedules to determine materials and parts requirements to ensure material availability according to schedules.
- Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities between operations, maintenance and contract personnel.
- Maintain and publish maintenance schedule according to priority and resource availability.
- Arrange for and schedule contract support as needed to complete corrective and preventative tasks.
- Orchestrate planning and scheduling meetings for operations and maintenance resource coordination.
- Reschedule maintenance activities as needed.
- Work with crafts, production and/or clients to ensure schedule adherence.
- Participate on Operations project teams.
- Facilitate maintenance shutdown scheduling meetings.
- Perform detailed resource leveling to ensure monthly manpower usage is equal throughout the year.
