Planner Scheduler - Houston, TX
Major operator searching for an experienced Planner Scheduler to work in their Houston office in the Energy Corridor. Contract is one year with possibility for extension. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of Primavera experience and Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related field.
Description of Role:
* Assist with the implementation of processes that encourage early recognition and assessment of risks and opportunities which could affect the ability of a well to be 'drill ready'
* Lead initial interactive planning sessions leveraging information from all stakeholders to establish and maintain an overall well readiness schedule (X-Y Location to Spud) by production area
* Update the schedule regularly and provide analysis and reporting to the management and project team. Evaluate schedule alternatives to support project changes
* Develop and co-ordinate multiple work scopes and present an Integrated project schedule.
* Establish schedule logic and draw up master schedules to establish work sequence, prioritize, establish workflow and expedite operations to keep projects on track.
* Change management implementation and analysis
* Analysis and reporting for special or specific Planning & Scheduling issues
* Identification and resolution of problems in the area of Planning & Scheduling
* Provide additional analysis and reporting to management
Skills & Experience
* Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related field.
* Minimum five years experience using Primavera and currently proficient in Primavera 6.0, Microsoft Project and Excel
* Experience should include resource loading and leveling
* Experience in project, planning & scheduling, reporting and progress measurement systems
* Upstream O&G experience is preferred
Must be authorized to work in the US (US Citizen, Green Card, Work Permit)
