Planner/Buyer

Planner/Buyer required to join a global biotech company to support the Supply Chain department. Located in Dublin they require someone for 6 months to start ASAP.

Functional Responsibilities:
. Responsible for portfolio of commercial products, understanding all constraints and dependencies that impact planning activities
. Support commercial, and NPI production plans.
. Participate in the monthly planning cycle for all products and complete the necessary activities, some of which include:

. Ensuring the master production schedule and resultant production plan is reflected on SAP and Rapid Response (RR).
. Balancing product supply in RR system given known constraints, confirming system orders comply with target safety stock and target material availability dates.
. Manage and monitor SAP/RR transactions to support production plan, planning cycle and procurement activities.
. Monitor material inventory levels against the scheduled requirements taking scrap and expiry into consideration by developing and implementing planning & procurement inventory strategies and reflect same on SAP.
. Prepare forecasts for procurement of the raw materials, consumables as per scheduled requirements.
. Procure and monitor materials in line with Global policies.
. Expedite delivery and approval of materials on a priority basis by developing level loaded receipt plans.
. Liaise with Supplier Quality Management and Global Procurement groups when materials procured do not meet specification to ensure production commitments can still be maintained.
. Develop and maintain operational relationships across site and global network.
. Participate as required in Business Reviews with key suppliers.
. Data owner within SAP for Planning and Procurement fields.
. Monitor and track KPIs.
. Provide regular and accurate summary reports to Supply Chain Senior management.
. Identify areas for continuous improvement for planning and procurement processes.
