PL/SQL Developer

We're looking for an experienced PL/SQL developer to join our Oracle development team. The solutions you'll contribute to range from analytics systems (built on top of Oracle OBIEE) to high scale transaction processing systems, batch processing systems and databases that support our industry leading mobile and web application solutions. You'll also be working on Oracle Exadata enterprise engineered hardware running Oracle 11G.

As a part of the team, you'll design and develop schemas, PL/SQL functions, triggers, views and packages, all within our multi-tenant data architecture. You'll also design and build solutions to test, monitor and tune our systems to enable peak performance. We're a very collaborative team, so communication skills are key. We constantly share ideas and we're looking for team members who share our passion for technology.Work responsibility is split between PL/SQL development (90%) and Oracle DBA (10%)*

RESPONSIBILITIES YOU'LL HAVE:

- Use your Oracle expertise to design schemas, packages and procedures in support of our financial services data pipeline; Tools like TOAD, SQL Developer, as well as data modelling techniques, should be second nature
- Use various methods such as, AWR, ASH, SQL_MONITOR, EM12c, to tune and scale our batch and Real Time processing solutions to help us identify and resolve performance problems. We also encourage the use of new techniques and in-house solutions to help locate bottlenecks and squeeze out better performance
- Design multi-tenant, configurable data solutions that allow us to support multiple financial services clients in a homogenous environment, at scale
- Contribute big data solutions to help us leverage all the data we have, in a way that benefits our customers
- Work comfortably in a fast-paced, project oriented environment where collaboration across multiple roles and departments is necessary to get the job done

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor's degree + 5 years experience
- 4+ years PL/SQL/DBA Development Experience
- 2 years Oracle 10G/11G Experience
- Financial services experience is preferable but not required
- Must have hands-on PL/SQL development experience
- Must have extensive experience tuning and optimizing within Oracle 10G and 11G
- Database performance monitoring and troubleshooting
- Relational data modelling skills
- Strong knowledge of common Oracle tools, utilities and packages
- Exposure to database administration on Oracle 10G/11G is a plus
- Development tools -Toad, SQL Developer
- Oracle Tuning Tools -TKProf, AWR, etc.
- PL/SQL Development -functions, triggers, procedures, packages
- Logical database design
- SQL Plus, SQL Loader
- Oracle Monitoring Design and Setup
