PL/SQL Developer

PL/SQL Engineer/Limerick

This global technology Giant is expanding their development function and is on the lookout for a PL/SQL Engineer. The PL/SQL Engineer will be working with Ireland's largest telecoms industry to help plan and manager the delivery of small or sub/projects.

Role and Responsibilities:

Role Specific Technical Skills

. Experience in delivering projects that adhere to robust development methodology.

. Substantial experience building enterprise class applications

. Experience in following Quality processes and their practical implementation

. An experience of the integration and workflow technologies. Knowledge of their usage in eircom/Meteor is a plus.

. Good knowledge of Telecom Industry processes in regulated/Wholesale environment is a plus.

. Good knowledge of Telecom infrastructure and Ethernet technology is a plus.

. Up to date knowledge of eTOM solutions for telcos and market trends

Knowledge and Skills Required:

. Proven knowledge and experience in Oracle DB design for the enterprise class solutions.

. Knowledge and experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL with SQL tuning techniques is a must.

. Strong knowledge of Oracle development environment eg Oracle 4GL environments, PL/SQL Stored Procedures, Java Stored Procedures, Oracle 10G databases.

. Strong experience in the design, build and test of application components.
