Piping Engineer/Stress Engineer

Yoh has a long term contract opportunity for a PIPING ENGINEER/STRESS ENGINEER to join our client in Bellingham, Washington.

This is an excellent opportunity to join our large EPC firm on a major oil and gas/refinery project for a projected 18+ month assignment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide project leadership as a senior level stress analyst with proficiency in CAEPIPE, a strong background in oil and gas/refinery, and very strong communication skills.
- Check piping flexibility analysis and review other piping engineers work.
- Review mechanical design of projects for technical accuracy, compliance, completeness and feasibility to governing codes and Client requirements.
- Establish technical guidelines, devise new approaches, apply existing criteria in new manners, and draw conclusions from comparative situations.
- Identify improvement opportunities and define scope of work.
- Communicate with clients and vendors as necessary.
