Piping Design Engineer- Subsea

International Client looking for an English Speaking Piping Design engineer based in Oslo. To fit this role, candidates should have previously worked in a similar role and have the relevant work experience.

Resposibilities:

* Execute and facilitate the design and analysis for assigned projects using sound engineering principles.
* Provide solutions adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements.
* Responsible for Design and analysis of piping system for the assigned projects/programs.
* Able to work with teams and provide Technical inputs.
* Actively participate in Technical/design reviews.
* Proven ability to understand piping functional requirement as a part of the entire subsea development

Skill Requirement:
* 2+ years of experience with piping design/analysis in subsea system.
* Expertise in Triflex and/or ANSYS software.
* Familiar with relevant standards within the Oil & Gas industry (ISO, ASME B31.3, 831.8, DnV OS FIOI, DnV RP Fli2, API)
* Proven expertise covering piping systems for a subsea systems and field development.
* Strong technical attitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems.
* Demonstrated ability to cover various aspects of project work such as design, analysis, documentation and procedures.
* Proactive and assertive approach to new tasks
* Ability to combine the disciplines piping, design and structural when necessary.
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Fluency in English language, both verbal and written.
* Problem analysis and resolution skills
* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
* Customer-focused in defining quality and establishing priorities
