Pipeline Plant Protection

I am currently looking for an experienced Pipeline Plant Protection professional to join one of my large blue chip companies.

Role:

Assist in the removal of the job backlog and manage the technical review of Plant Protection Work Enquiries. The workload has shown a sustained increase in the last 12 months that has resulted in this backlog being generated, that requires addressing to improve Process Safety in this area.

Key Tasks:

* Carry out technical assessments & evaluate risks to ensure that Major Accident Hazard Pipelines (MAHP's) are not affected by 3rd party works/activities.
Review detailed method statements, risk assessments and plans and ensure that sufficient information has been obtained to fully assess proposed works
* Ensure compliance with specifications, policies, procedures and legislation.
* Manage resources to ensure delivery of a variety of work activities ensuring that tight timescales and deadlines are met.

Experience:

* Applicants must be able to understand detailed risk assessments and method statements relating to utility, groundwork, construction, demolition and other similar works.
* Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal are essential to this role.
* Must be computer literate and experienced in using Microsoft Word, outlook and excel.
* Preferably has experience in providing supervision to utility/ground works such as main/cable/service laying activities with a good understanding of the different type of techniques used in such works.
* Driving licence required.
* Applicants must be able to interpret utility plans, technical construction drawings & project plans.
