Physician Assistant Job

Yoh has a contract-to-hire opportunity for a PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT to join our client in Batavia, IL.

Job Overview:
- This is a contract-to-hire opportunity. Work 960 hours/six (6 months) then convert to Full time employee.
- Onsite employee clinic.
- Hours are M-F 8am-4:30pm

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Perform work related injury care, return to works physicals, and medical surveillance physicals.
- Employee training.
- HIPAA compliance.
- Assists employees in understanding health care benefits and associated resources (ie health coaching, EAP, etc.).
- Responds to emergency situations at the facility and renders appropriate care.
- Flu shots.
- Sick call, sore throat, coughs, fever, and first aid.
- Vision testing.
- Hearing testing.
- TB screening.
- BAT testing.
- FIT test.
- Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT).
- Venipuncture
- I.V. skills used.

Job Qualifications:
- Licensure in the State of IL. as a Physician assistant.
- Experience in occupational health.
- Two to five (2-5) years of Clinical experience.
- Prefer two (2) years of experience in an Occupational health setting.
- BLS.
