PHP/Wordpress Developer - Freelance - Brussels

Mission Description - We are seeking a WordPress Developer responsible for both Back End and Front End development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins. This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript...) and aesthetics. He/she will be part of team managing the clients websites. He/she will develop, update, maintain, deploy plugins, widget, content updates, visual enhancements.

Responsibilities:

- Designing and implementing new features and functionality
- Follow up on the latest updates of Wordpress and plugins.
- Establishing and guiding the website's architecture
- Ensuring high-performance and availability of the CMS
- Follow industry best practices
- Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary

Mandotory Skills - - In-depth knowledge of PHP and Wordpress CMS

Optional skills - - GIT/SVN

- Experience and understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON
- Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats
- Experience of Linux and web based environments
- GIT/SVN
- Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS 2, React JS

This is a longterm mission based in Brussels.
