PHP Web Developer

Our client is an established industry leading interactive agency that is looking for a motivated PHP developer to join their Internet marketing and infrastructure applications development team.

Essential Duties:
Responsible for day-to-day maintenance of many websites and web applications, E-commerce sites and marketing portals for multiple companies.
Work with the Joomla framework, driven by MySQL, to develop and enhance our customer facing sites, forms and call-to-action landing pages.
Develop dynamic, mission critical PHP applications that interface with databases.

Experience:

- 3+ Years experience with PHP
- Understanding of MVC design patterns (frameworks such as CodeIgniter, Symfony, Yii, etc a plus)
- Experience with one or more CMS Systems (Joomla, Wordpress, Drupal, etc)
- Familiarity with Object Oriented Programming fundamentals
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, AJAX and SQL

Other skills:
- Exceptional multitasking skills in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- Ability to rapidly learn new technologies

Education: BS in computer science or a related field, or significant equivalent experience
