RESPONSIBILITIES
- Systems analysis
- Specification and design
- Development of core/new product
- Research and development
- Issue investigation
- Software maintenance
- Vendor management
- Any technical pre-sales, client facing as required
REQUIREMENTS
- 4 years or more PHP development experience
- Strong experience with MySQL. MS SQL Server a distinct advantage.
- Strong knowledge and practice of Object Oriented Design patterns and principles
- Demonstrable track record of building beautifully responsive N-Tier applications using some or all of (HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, Twitter Bootstrap, JSON, REST, MySQL)
- Experience using Git/GitHub in a team environment and implementing best practices (CI, TDD, etc.) to deliver high quality products in a fast paced environment
- Knowledge and experience of multiple cloud infrastructures, Azure, AWS, Heroku etc
- BSc in computer science or related discipline
- Strong Oral, Written and Communication skills
- Strong team player that will add value to Agile team
- Willing to travel to client sites as required
