PHP Application Developer (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

- Maintain existing applications to improve usability and meet business requirements.
- Design and specify front-end and back-end applications using programming standards, structured coding techniques and methodologies
- Develop efficient and secure applications using PHP frameworks
- Monitor and improve overall quality and performance
- Documenting system changes and supporting end users
- Respond to and prevent IT security risks by applying IT security standards
- Identify opportunities to improve application and infrastructure security, functionality, and performance

Oversee, prepare, and facilitate the testing process, including structuring, facilitating, or participating in reviews and inspections - Resolve and analyze issues on a day-to-day basis

- Be part of the shift team every 5 - 6 weeks providing emergency support outside of business hours

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- You have proven expertise in requirements analysis, software development, programming, testing, user acceptance testing and documentation
- You keep up to date with technology trends such as modern PHP frameworks, DevSecOps, JavaScript, TypeScript, containers, and Microsoft Azure. Knowledge of Linux, Perl, CGI and scripting is a plus
- You think in a focused, analytical, and business-oriented manner without losing sight of the needs of customers and other parties
- You enjoy collaborating with colleagues at all levels, preparing and documenting workshops, and presenting to peers and other departments
-Your communication skills enable you to build lasting relationships with colleagues, customers and business partners
-You are self-motivated, able to work under pressure and flexible
-You have a very good command of English and ideally a knowledge of French or German
