Pharmacy Technician Job

PHARMACY TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity for Yoh's client located in Warrendale, PA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Translate prescriptions filled out by the MDO and enter them on the patient's profile.
- Look for patient's allergies, therapies, and current medication on different forms and enter them on the patient profile history.
- Verifies all information is complete on the Rx and all necessary information is entered on the patient's profile.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous data entry experience.
- Must be PTCB Certified.
- Minimum requirements to competently perform the key responsibilities of this job in terms of educational background, work experience, licenses/certifications or other knowledge, skills, and abilities.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Previous Pharmacy Tech experience is preferred.
- Experience in a retail/specialty pharmacy setting is very helpful.
