Pharmacy Revenue Cycle Financial Analyst

Description:
-Temporary substitute for the current Revenue Cycle Financial Analyst during her maternity leave.
-Candidate will be providing transition training

Refund Process Management:
-Candidates will manage regional refund processes for pharmacy finance and member grievances
-Review and prepare file for AP submission
-Follow up on status of refund requests and update database accordingly

Data Calculation & Remediation:
-Process group plan grievance/remediation of overpaid and underpaid Rx claims
-Data mining and analysis for refund data
-Rx data request for review and analysis

Member Grievance:
-Process refunds on a timely manner
-Provide refund inquiries to members, member services and third party vendors
-Research refund items for reissues
-Troubleshot returned items, checks & resolve

Reporting and Tracking:
-Produce periodic summary of refunds activities
-Monitor and track refund activities in database and workbook
-Record refund events

Accounting:
-Monthly accrual accounting entries for refund tracking and month end analysis
-GL coding of various refund business lines
-Research and reconciliation of unmatched checks for accounting purpose
-Processing of lockbox payment slips and Drug return A/R checks
-Pharmacy billing functions

Requirements:
-2 to 3 years of experience in accounting/financial analysis
-Previous healthcare revenue cycle experience desirable.

Experience working/serving interdepartmental clients required.
Must have intermediate skills in MS Office Products
