Perl and SQL Database Developer

Yoh has a six (6) month plus contract opportunity for a DATABASE DEVELOPER WITH PERL, SQL AND UNIX SHELL SCRIPTING EXPERIENCE to join our client in St. Louis, MO.

JOB OVERVIEW:

- The Database Developer will work in a team environment developing detailed specifications outlining programming requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Analysis, design, and implementation of information system solutions using development methodology.
- Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents and maintains these programs.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must have Perl, UNIX Shell Scripting, SQL (SQL Server and DB2 databases involved here) programming skills.
- GOOD OBJECTED ORIENTED PERL DEVELOPMENT SKILLS REQUIRED.
- Must be self-starter with ability to work independently and history of learning new systems quickly.

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:

- Experience with converting data from one system to another is desired.
