Performance Test Engineer

My client is a Global Software testing Company looking for Performance Test Engineer's with baseline clearance for a contract role in Canberra.

- Accomplished, hands on Performance Test Engineer/Lead
- All aspects of performance testing, from planning, tool configuration & setup, through to script design, execution and results analysis
- Must be able to work independently
- Must have strong communications and consultancy skills
- Must have excellent knowledge and practical experience using HP Loadrunner
- Must hold a current Baseline clearance
- Must be able to start on 12th October 2015 in Canberra
- Must be able to hit the ground running
- Has strong testing experience and work in a high pressure environment with short delivery timeframes
- Willing to work weekends/after hours to meet critical deliverables
- Experience/familiar with the Federal Government environment
- Experience with record management systems
- Very good knowledge of Performance Test Process, Testing Methodologies performance analysis
- Should be able to work with highly technical teams (architects, developers) at client location and converse/resolve issues during technical discussions
- Require a hands on senior performance test engineer who has previous experience with Federal Government and Records Management systems
- Build and maintain relationships with relevant internal/external stakeholders, vendors and clients

Essential

- 5+ years of experience in a testing position
- Technical and project documentation experience
- Experience writing test plans, test cases, defect management, test execution and reporting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to write succinct defect reports and explaining issues to other members in the company
- Identify impending risks that may compromise achievement of deliverables and initiate steps to mitigate risk.
- Contribute knowledge and expertise where required to projects being undertaken by other business units.
- Contribute knowledge and expertise where required for peer review.
- Must be passionate about testing and quality assurance
- HP Loadrunner experience mandatory requirement
- Able to work on a task/component of work with minimal supervision and support
- Ensure SDLC - Performance Testing component is met
- Willing to do overtime if required to meet tight deadlines
