Performance Test Architect/Technical Architect - Oslo, Norway

Roc Search's client is currently recruiting for a Performance Test Architect/Technical Architect based in Oslo, Norway.

Experience: 10+ Years of IT experience. Out of which more than 8 years in Performance Testing & engineering assignments

Note: Flexibility to travel at a short notice on short/long term onsite assignments.

Skills Requirement:
Should be hands on & willing to play the role of a Consultant. Willing to be an individual contributor
Should be experienced in carrying out performance testing/engineering consulting assignments
oCurrent state assessment, landscape understanding, portfolio of required performance engineering services, estimations & proposals
Proven in strategy/planning & implementation - good to have experience in setting up Test Centers or customer specific Performance CoE
Proven exposure to identify bottlenecks & recommendations for enterprise applications varying in Architecture & Deployment complexity
Should have experience with the following
oPerformance Engineering - n-tier Web Applications (Microsoft/Java Platforms), Rich Internet Applications, Client Server, web Services (SOAP, REST), Middle technologies (JMS, MQ, TIBCO), Packaged Applications (SAP/Peoplesoft/Siebel/Oracle E-business suite)
oClient Side Performance Testing & tuning, Baselining, Benchmarking
oTuning for optimization & consolidation
oCapacity Planning, Trending & Management
oUsage Pattern Analysis & work-load Modeling
oBe able to understand & determine bottlenecks in different databases
Sound understanding in using the tools for DB analysis, understanding in interpreting diagnostics report & provide recommendation
Query profiling, analysis & recommendation for optimization
oNice to have understanding of applying mathematical models for Capacity & similar operations' approach
Tuning & optimization experience with Web Server, Application Servers, RDBMS, OS

Performance Testing - Performance Center/Loadrunner/SilkPerfomer/RadView WebLoad/QALoad/OpenSTA/Jmeter/MS VSTS and monitoring using SiteScope/IntroScope, HP BAC
Profilers/Analysis - JProbe/JProfiler/Netbeans Profiler/YourKit/OptimizeIT/Quantify/Microsoft Diagnostics & profiling tools
Client - Yslow/PageTest, HTTP Sniffer
Diagnostics - HP Deep Diagnostics(.Net/J2EE)/DynaTrace
Memory analyzers, GC Analyzers, Thread Analyzers
Exposure to Web Servers, Application Servers - Configuration and tuning
Databases Performance - Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, DB2
