Performance Reporting Analyst in Worcester for Government Sector Organ

ROLE: PERFORMANCE REPORTING ANALYST

LOCATION: WORCESTER

DURATION: 3+ Months Initially with possible extension

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Extensive experience supporting the business and staff from non-finance disciplines Essential
- Experience of devising management reporting and analysis both within the public sector and within the private sector Essential.
- Experience of supporting board members or policy directors in both private and public sector Essential.
- Outstanding computer literacy, particular Excel spreadsheets - Essential
- Ability to take data from different systems and develop comprehensive KPI's and management reporting - Essential
- Ability to work independently (plan and organise own work activities, resolve routine work problems and judge when to refer issues to management) and as part of a team - Essential
- Ability to analyse and report on financial information, including budgetary control - Essential

DESIRABLE

- Experience of Oracle finance system or equivalent - Desirable.
- Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level organisational and time management skills. Ability to manage a variety of tasks at any one time, work under pressure and achieve strict deadlines - Essential
- Demonstrable experience of working to a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail, in a confidential environment - Essential
- Strong accounting background.
