Performance Manager with Planning IT Know-How (2910)

The role of the Architecture Performance Manager is to coordinate the development and implementation of an architecture oversight practice to support both the Solution and Functional Architects by ensuring that the necessary standards, practices & KPIs are in place to enable faster, more cost effective and accurate delivery of solutions and developing informed opinions.
This role must ensure that an effective business, application & technology architecture model is developed and operating to align with business plans and investments. The necessary approval mechanisms and forums need to be in place with escalation mechanisms established to ensure timely resolution of architecture exceptions.

The person taking on this role will be expected to be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of:

- The Application life cycle management. Using PlanningIT (Which is critical for this role)
- The benefits and elements of Enterprise Architecture and the use of Architecture views/models
- How to set up and manage Architectural Governance processes and chair Architectural Review meetings
- Application solution development - in order to be able to challenge Solution Architects
- Setting up models, frameworks etc. to support execution of projects and programmes
- Architecture simplification. Clear understanding of architecture complexity and how to measure and monitor complexity reduction
- KPI's relating to Architecture and execution of complex programs
- The use of tools to support solution and functional architecture activities
- Architecture Project Management to ensure architects are delivering against stakeholder expectations
