We are currently working with an NHS Trust in the South East of England who is looking for a PERFORMANCE MANAGER with a strong health informatics background. You will work closely with the Assistant Director of Performance and other corporate functions (eg PMO, IT, Information) to oversee solutions that will help to drive performance and promote Self-Serve.

The successful applicant will work closely with the General Manager and Lead Clinicians to interpret and manipulate data from existing reporting and interrogate the outcomes to improve performance. You will also attend key operational and performance meetings taking a lead in advising on performance achievement and non-compliance.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO APPLY FOR THIS ROLE:

A Health Informatics background, with a good knowledge of NHS Data Dictionary and Operating Frameworks

You must be able to demonstrate a high level of stakeholder and communication skills, particularly interacting with Lead Clinicians and other Senior Hospital staff.

Excel & SQL skills (The current reporting landscape is Excel based)

Ability to manipulate and analyse data
- Previous experience benchmarking and reporting on activity trends to support business cases and strategic planning.

A STRONG UNDERSTANDING OF A&E AND ADMISSIONS DATA, PARTICULARLY AROUND LENGTH OF STAY - THIS IS ESSENTIAL AND CANDIDATES WITHOUT EVIDENCE OF THIS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
