Performance Lead/Specialist - Performance Frameworks - London

PERFORMANCE SPECIALIST/PERFORMANCE LEAD required for central government organisation based in London.

CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE AN EXTENSIVE WORKING KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE OF PERFORMANCE FRAMEWORKS, AND DIRECT EXPERIENCE OF SUCCESSFUL PERFORMANCE FRAMEWORK DELIVERY (ACROSS TIME, BUDGET AND QUALITY).

This role will be responsible for design, approach and implementation of a performance framework. The role will work within a dynamic tasking team structure where the post holder will be an expert within their field but will also utilise their broader PPM and change skills across ongoing parallel strategic deliverables.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

This will be focusing on the performance framework, meaning what data will be used to judge performance effectively.

Candidates will need to understand what data is relevant and how this can be used and displayed

Knowledge of performance framework and scorecard are essential

This could include consulting on how best to utilise the data, ie getting a performance suite designed and built internally or being able to review and recommend off-the-shelf suites that could be used and integrated with the chosen performance data

It is at a very early stage so the performance lead will need to outline this from start to finish

The first stage of the programme will be focusing on what data will be used to judge the corporate performance but the emphasis will then shift across to how to display that information, ie a scorecard

Previous experience does not need to have an emphasis on IT and technology, however an understanding of the data and systems is required.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop a performance framework strategy

Creating engaging presentations to various boards involving the translation of complex solutions and IT

Lead on the definition of performance management initiatives from inception to delivery

Map the inputs and outputs of the performance frameworkAssist with the development, requirements, specification and delivery of strategic deliverables across the directorate

Helping the organisation move through a cultural change across ways of working and approaches

The successful candidate must be eligible to obtain security clearance prior to going on site. Therefore candidates must have maintained permanent residency in the UK for a minimum of 3 years.
