Performance Engineer

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a PERFORMANCE ENGINEER to join our client in San Jose, CA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performance Engineer will perform benchmark measurements on various platforms as well as analyze and report the results
- Run simulation on performance models
- Interface with engineers, product managers and product analysts to understand data, reporting and analytical needs.
- Support efforts to optimize performance of platforms.

Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Engineering or related field of study
- Knowledge of computer architecture and microarchitecture
- Familiarity with benchmarks and computer performance evaluation methods
- Software development skills
- Fluent in C and/or C++ and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets

Preferred Job Skills/Experience/Knowledge:
- Strong experience with Perl or Python
