Performance/Data Specialist

Hyphen have an excellent opportunity to work for a large Utilities client based in Hinckley, Leicestershire as a Performance Data Analyst on a 6 month contract.

The successful candidate will have strong experience taking a lead role in undertaking root cause analysis and will have strong experience in data analysis and manipulating MI reports.

Job Purpose:
To provide analytical support to the Replace and Extend Process performance Manager, taking a lead role in undertaking root cause analysis against under performance issues as identified through current KPIs.

Key Tasks:
- Undertaking data analysis
- Defining and manipulating MI reports
- Communicating and interpreting outputs of data analyses to the business
- Challenging and troubleshooting outputs of data analyses
- Potentially supporting embedding root cause analysis techniques into our business

Essential Skills/Experience:
- Data analysis and manipulating MI reports
- Knowledge of Six Sigma or lean technique would be beneficial
- Strong analytical mind and good attention to detail
- Comfortable working as part of a team or independently
- Ability to challenge and see patterns and opportunities
- Good attention to detail, strong analytical mind
- Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage
- Experience of data analysis is essential
- Knowledge and application of statistical analysis with use of statistical packages (eg Minitab) would be beneficial
- Understanding of the Utility industry would be beneficial
