This is a 2 month contract opportunity. Overview
Our Client is seeking a PeopleSoft HCM Technical Analyst, as their IT Enterprise Support Systems (ESS) requires an external resource to assist with PeopleSoft HCM 9.1 enhancements.Role and Responsibilities
Assistance is needed from a PeopleSoft HCM Technical Analyst for enhancement work in our Client's Core HR and Benefit functional areas.
- The consultant will have the ability to complete all software development work associated to the prioritized enhancements. The consultant will work closely with Human Resources to successfully complete the work. This role will include such general deliverables such as:
- Technical Design Documentation
- Software (Application/Reports/Interfaces) Development
- System Testing and Technical issue resolution.
Responsibilities will include:
- Working as a member of the technical team responsible for all development associated to the PeopleSoft HCM 9.1.
- Working with functional and technical resources to ensure all development is tested thoroughly.
Qualifications
Required Skills - PeopleSoft HCM experience with strong knowledge of the HCM application and processes.
- In depth knowledge of PeopleTools development, PeopleCode, Workflow, SQR, Application Engine, Data Mover, Integration Broker and Component Interface
- Good understanding of the technical tools used in the PeopleSoft environment, including new features available with PeopleTools 8.52
- Strong Analytical and design skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with business and functional resources to develop sustainable business solutions
- Ability to document technical specifications
- Application Development experience
- Report Development (XML publisher, Crystal Reports, SQR, queries) experience
- Interface Development experience
- Testing experience during all system and end user testing, including issue analysis and resolution.
Desired Skills:
- Previous experience with software development in a PeopleSoft HCM 9.1 environment.
