Peoplesoft HCM Onsite Test Lead

JOB TITLE: PEOPLESOFT HCM ONSITE TEST LEAD

LOCATION: PLEASANTON, CA

DURATION: 6 TO 9 MONTHS

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE (YRS):

- 14-15 Yrs of Testing experience in CORE HR, BENEFITS AND NA PAYROLL modules in Lead capacity.
- Project Management experience is a must.
- Candidate should have project management experience of at least 5-6 projects.
- Candidate should have good knowledge from PeopleSoft HCM functional standpoint.
- Candidate should have 70% Functional and 30% Technical Knowledge.
- Should have experience in Design, Development and execution of test scripts.

NECESSARY SKILLS :

- Planning, Communication and Leadership skills necessary.
- PeopleSoft CORE HR, BENEFITS AND NA PAYROLL FUNCTIONAL SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTISE IS MUST.
- Ability to review Functional and Technical solutions with Development and Solutions team and provide feedback.
- Comfortable with Process-flows & Functional-flows of HCM modules.
- Interact with Functional and Technical Team to understand testing requirements.
- Knowledge of requirement-gathering methodologies and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Testing life cycle using HCM PeopleSoft modules.
- Commitment to delivering a high quality work product.

DESIRED SKILLS

- Minimum 5 projects with Testing experience in terms of functional testing/lead capacity
- Demonstrating experience on PeopleSoft HCM modules in Implementation of testing projects
- Able to work closely with Offshore and meeting the deliverables within timelines

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Understand the functional requirement for the PeopleSoft HCM modules and demonstrate testing deliverables on agreed timelines
- This role will involve working with the project team (functional and development teams) to define test scope in order to develop test scenarios.
- This role will report status regularly to the client Test Manager as well as identify and communicate of any issues or risks for the testing workstream on the project.
- Collaborating with the onsite and offshore team members to ensure deliverables are met, knowledgebase is transferred and cross-training happens.
- Coordinate with the testing team to conduct System testing, Integration testing and Regression testing.
