Peoplesoft Financials Project Manager

PEOPLESOFT FINANCIALS PROJECT MANAGER - LONG-TERM CONTRACT 

Atlanta-based financial services industry leader is seeking a senior PeopleSoft Financials Project Manager. In this 12 month+ (likely multi-year) contract, you will lead the project team through an SDLC-based new implementation of PeopleSoft Financials 9.2. The company is moving away from a Mainframe-based Lawson financial ERP.

Specifically on this project, you will act as functional lead in planning, requirement collection, design, build, testing, training, deployment, & support phases.  You will ensure all deliverables are on time and meet or exceed the quality needs and in doing so, provide and document status updates, risks, issues, actions, or decisions to the ERP director and executive steering committee.

What is great about this project is that you will be joining from the start.  You will have influence over hiring decisions for the technical PS developers being brought on to the team.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

- 5+ Years of PeopleSoft Financials Implementations (through version 9.2)
- Functional Lead/PM
- Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft: Billing & AR, GL, CM, AP, & AM
- Excellent communication skills/Ability to interface with executive leadership
- Any insurance, banking, or healthcare industry experience would be a plus
