Peoplesoft Financials Consultant AP with PO

MY CLIENT IN ROME, ITALY IS LOOKING FOR A PEOPLESOFT FINANCIALS FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT WITH STRONG AP (AND SOME PO) EXPERIENCE. SPEC IS BELOW, PLEASE CALL FOR FURTHER INFORMATION.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the general supervision and technical coordination of the ICT Solutions Coordinator, ICT, and as part of the ERP Solutions Team, the incumbent will, develop functional specifications to streamline payment processing including:
- Auto generation of payment lines on consultant payments;
- Auto generation of vouchers for consultants on continuing contracts;
- Two way matching for payment values below USD 1000
- Documenting possible future process improvements;
- Any other duties as required;
A minimum of 10 years practical IT experience with at least 7 years in the implementation and support of PeopleSoft financial modules and specifically experience implementing PeopleSoft Payment and Purchasing solutions.
Competencies:
Effective problem solving approach; demonstrated success in the analysis, design, implementation and quality control of corporate ERP solutions; ability to understand business processes; ability to work in a cross-cultural team and develop and maintain a positive relationship with end users; ability to prioritise and organise the work (own and consultants) for effective resolution of functional and technical problems; ability to consult and deal effectively with all levels of the organisation; ability to develop clear and concise proposals for system implementation; ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English.
The candidate should have a demonstrable experience of the following PeopleSoft technologies:
PeopleSoft Accounts Payables (MUST HAVE)
- PeopleSoft Purchasing
- PeopleSoft General Ledger
- People Tools
- SQL
- Workflow
