SECURITY ADMINISTRATOR - CEH OR CISSP PREFERRED- needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's Client located in St Louis, Missouri..

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- The IT Security Administrator will be responsible for the administration of access controls for the network, applications, and systems.
- Candidates must be highly-skilled in risk analysis with a strong understanding of multiple security platforms and layers including Vulnerability Management, Intrusion Detection/Prevention, Incident Response, Operating Systems, and Identity & Access Management.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

- Assists in defining, creating and implementing the company's Information Security Policy/Procedures
- Provides for user id and password management activities. This includes assigning, revoking and changing user id access when properly approved as well as monitoring for appropriate configuration.
- Responds to Information Security incidents in conjunction with the ISO (Information Security Officer).
- Develops and monitors access controls for each user account.
- Monitors access and roles to all systems and applications and report findings to the ISO.
- Monitors network/elements for suspicious behavior and report to ISO.
- Works with internal and external auditors, under direction of the ISO.
- Review of the network asset configuration changes per the company's procedures.
- Review compliance with the information security policy and associated procedures.
- Provides periodic reporting on information security issues to the Information Security Officer.
- Interfaces with external contacts to maintain/administer accounts/controls
- Performs all functions as assigned by management.
- Provide high quality work by ensuring accuracy and seeking to continuously improve our processes and platforms by embracing new and better ways of doing things.
