PCB-Cadence Layout Expert (m/f)

For our client in the automotive sector in Stuttgart, we are currently hiring a PCB-Cadence Layout Expert (m/f).

Location: Bietigheim
Duration: in a limited permanent position at Nash direct/Harvey Nash Group for 12 months with option to become a direct employee at the end client

Tasks:
* Layout of high speed / highly integrated PCBs layout with the Cadence toolchain
* PCB Design layout :Occasional Allegro PCB Designer (schematics) using Clients Global component library; Placement and routing per Clients Design Layout Specifications and Guidelines; Drawings and manufacturing files output per clients standard procedures
* PCB Design Validation : Compliance with the e-CAD Layout Specifications and clients standards; Validation through the e-Cad checklist template documents; Participation to the PCB Layout design reviews

Your profile:
* Minimum 5 years of experience as layouter with the Cadence Allegro toolchain
* High density, high speed layouts, high pin counts: typically 12 layers boards with components populated on both sides.
* Knowledge of Cadence ConceptDFM editors (ex: Fabmaster, Valor ODB++, CAM350)
* Knowledge in Signal and Power Integrity: Cadence Sigrity toolchain
* PCB technologies and manufacturing: FR4, FLEX, CEM1... multilayers; PCB Dimensioning, tolerancing, finishing.
* Automotive Design for Assembly & Manufacturing: Insertion, Soldering, Coating, etc...
* Mechatronics :Mechanical constraints on the PCB (keepouts, height ); Thermal constraints, heat sinks; IDF, DXF, IGES import/export Good
* basic knowledge in IPC standards CID, CID+ RoHs, WEEE
* Layout experience for the automotive industry as a plus
