JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Articulate communications to engage stakeholders, procurement teammates and supplier contacts on meeting objectives that are to our mutual benefit.
- Prepare content (summary level or detail level) as needed for team meetings and sourcing RFP support.
- Expected to contribute at team meetings and at times, present to different audiences, as appropriate.
- Able to facilitate meetings of different types (examples: NetMeeting, team meeting, supplier performance reviews, etc.).
- Working with PC hardware team and cross functional participants, evaluate supplier capabilities, financial status, and cost drivers and their business strategies.
- Maintain a current knowledge of available information databases and emerging tools and technologies that will best support the procurement initiatives.
- Track and resolve invoice issues and concerns related to sourcing initiatives and supplier performance management.
- Potential occasional travel.

SKILLS:

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:

- Excellent interpersonal, analytical and communications skills required.
- Negotiation skills a plus.
- 3-6 years related work experience (purchasing or finance) required.
- Strong PC skills including MS Word, Excel. BA required.
- Undergraduate Degree
- ARIBA
- CPM - Certified Purchasing Manager
- MS Excel
- SAP
