PC/LAN Analyst

Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a PC/LAN Analyst to join their team!

DUTIES INCLUDE:

- Provides PC/LAN and related project support.
- Identifies/uses or may develop methods, techniques, diagnostic tools or criteria to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve moderately complex PC/LAN related hardware, software, operating systems and network problems.
- Analyzes client needs and reviews technical alternatives to determine their impact on the client and systems environment.
- Participates in the planning, installation and implementation of new or modified PC/LAN related hardware, software, applications or operating systems to meet client's requirements and updates/writes documentation.
- Participates in the implementation of voice and data communication networks to support environment, including configuring, implementing and troubleshooting circuits.
- Provides training and technical assistance to LAN Administrators.
- Understands BCP, quality, security and compliance requirements for supported area and analyzes additions and changes for risk to the environment.
- Participates in testing and updating the business continuation plan.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- 4 year degree and 3+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Working knowledge of VMWare VDI setups.
- Experience with VDI over RDP and ICA/Citrix client.
- Fortigate 110c Firewall, MS Exchange Server, Unitrends backup system, NAS and SAN storage management and Active Directory management.
- Excellent desktop support, imaging and troubleshooting skills. Good working knowledge of network Switches.
