PAYROLL SERVICE SPECIALIST - SAP PAYROLL

AstraZeneca are seeking to appoint a Payroll Service Specialist to support the execution of AZ payroll and liaise with outsourced provider of payroll to ensure payroll accuracy

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

- Managing outsourced payroll provider in execution of multi-site, multi-frequency and multiple legal entity payrolls for 8,000+ employees exceeding $1.3 billion gross annually adhering to AstraZeneca policies and Wage and Hour regulation.
- Processing also includes inpatriate/expatriate workforce, multiple external sites, overtime, work force bonuses and tax record keeping for other employee reward programs along with processing all appropriate AstraZeneca, employee voluntary and statutory payroll deductions.
- troubleshooting of pay issues with payroll provider
- Contributing to continuous improvement efforts
- Monitoring performance metrics of third party SLAs
- Effectively coordinating with AstraZeneca departments, HR, Legal, Tax, IS and Finance areas to accomplish necessary employee payments, legal and tax record keeping and financial accounting required by the company.
- Supporting Manager of Services with strong understanding of payroll control framework and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) control framework - demonstrating experience executing controls

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for someone with an understanding of Payroll Processes and SAP Payroll systems to assist with our outsourcing roll-out.

You will need to have a strong understanding of SAP Payroll, SoX framework, experience working with outsourcing/3rd Party roll-outs, and a strong familiarity developing/designing interfaces

By nature you will be a problem solver and have project management experience.
