PAYROLL MANAGER - CONTRACT - LONDON - IMMEDIATE START - £250+ PD

A hands on and dynamic Payroll Manager is required to take responsibility of the monthly payroll. Main duties will include the coordination and management of the monthly payroll function in cooperation with the outsourced payroll provider, including the administration of earnings and deductions, payroll benefits, pro rata calculations for leavers and joiners and ensuring accurate processing of all statutory deductions

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

- Ensuring that all payroll input is quality checked and employees are paid on time
- Providing advice and guidance to the business on payroll queries
- Developing and maintaining procedural and system changes
- Managing the relationship with the payroll provider, addressing any problems and finding solutions
- Working in partnership with the wider Finance and People teams
- Being part of the Finance expenses checking pool. Checking expenses to ensure compliance to company policy and legislation

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

-Experience using Activ payroll, SUN and Proactis.
- CIPP qualified
- Proven payroll management experience
- Comprehensive and working knowledge of payroll systems
- Demonstrated payroll management experience
